HAIR LOSS AND CUT (Simeon)

Thursday I woke up and a lot of my hair was on my bed and floor.  I was a little shocked but more excited.  I knew my hair was going to come out because  my mommy told me way ahead of time about it.  I was shocked because the way my hair came out it was in patches.  I was excited because it came out so soon.  Daddy and Mommy took me to the barbershop and I got a designer haircut.  I think the haircut looks exquisite.  My head does not hurt anymore since I got it cut.  When the hair was coming out it felt really sensitive.  My barber did the designer haircut for FREE!!  He said, just  let other cancer kids know that he does designer cuts for free.  My barber shop name is New Image in Four Corners Florida. On Tuesday I'm going to meet with my surgeon about implanting my Port this will give me much more freedom.  I have home school on Wednesday and more Chemo on Thursday.  I feel prepared for Chemo because I know what to expect.  I thank God for helping me and giving me strength.

"More than that, we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us."  Romans 5:3-5

  1. I like your new haircut......it is so cool!
I am happy that you had a great Christmas and
that you know the real reason for the celebration. God is always with you and is helping you thru this time of your life. You are an amazing young man. Give your mother a hug for me and have her give you one for me too.

  2. hiya simmie~

wow, little man, i'm really liking your cut! haha you beat the chemo to the punch and just cut it all off before it had a chance to keep shedding. now you look more like your daddy (only better~ but don't tell him i said so, lol!) so glad to hear your head isn't hurting and all sensitive any more. praying that your spirit continues to be encouraged throughout this trial. i love your smile and look forward to seeing it. but i understand if some days may seem harder to take than others. it's ok. we're human and sometimes we get tired. well, the good thing about that is that Jesus loves us and stays faithful to us no matter how we may feel. i pray the Lord increase your faith day by day and He make known to you His presence when things get tough. be encouraged little man and keep looking up. love, ms. angie

  5. Simeon, You have not met me,but I am Mrs. Morris' sister. She has told me so many wonderful things about you. Sooo...I have to ask, did you get that haircut design because you are her "Superstar?" I love the idea of you starting a blog. I am going to suggest it to some of my other Hospital Homebound students. Stay strong and remain positive. You are a Superstar, and YOU will beat this!! Hug your Mommy for me. I went to school with her. I think she's pretty wonderful as well.
