CHEMO IS OVER (Simeon)

My  Mom mom and me at my sisters birthday party

Yay Chemo is OVER!!!!!!! I know I haven't updated the blog in a really long time but things have been fantastic. My Mom-mom came down from Philadelphia and we had the most fantastic time! My sister had a roller skating party with all her friends and I even put on roller skates. I've also been selected to be part of a wonderful fashion show to support cancer kids. Runway to Hope took me shopping for cloths to wear in the show it was a lot of fun. They also took me and my family to Seaworld for the day, we had a blast. My last chemo was spectacular!! I didn't get really sick just extremely tired. I had the best last chemo party while in the hospital with some of the other kids in for treatment. I feel relieved and thankful that chemo is over. I'm still praying for my wonderful friends I've met along the way. My heart is still with every single one of them and I think of them everyday.

CHEMO COUNTDOWN! (Simeon)

WakeBoard Warrior

On Saturday my Mom, Sister and I went to the Wakeboard Foundation! I absolutely loved the event it was mind bending.  We went out on two boat rides, the first boat was fast and had a Wakeboarder on the back doing the coolest tricks.  The second boat was extremely fast and did the best tricks, everyone on the boat was screaming to the top of there lungs.  The Pro Wakeboarders also did a photo shoot on the dock and in the boat.  It was awesome!  Now I'm a fan of Steel he's a Pro Wakebaorder and he wrote on my blog.

Chemo Countdown!!

Me and Lauren my Chemo nurse
On Monday I came to the hospital for Chemo.  I will be here at the hospital until Friday and after that I'll have just one Chemo left!!  I'm so happy that I only have one more cycle so this can finally be finished.  I'm feeling fantastic this cycle. I'm playing a lot in the playroom with new friends and Ms. Debbie the child life specialist.  All my favorite nurses are here this time so it's really a blessing!!!  I even got the BIG  room!!!  God is really blessing my entire family and me through this battle. Keep praying that this Chemo continues to go very well and I don't get as sick.  Wish me blessings.

DELAYED (Simeon)

My Aunt Tosha,  Cute little cousin Gabby and me
The past week was awesome!!  My Aunt Tosha and my cute little cousin Gabby came to visit me from Philadelphia and we had a blast.  My Aunt is a great chef and she made a lot of delicious foods. I gained 5 pounds while she was here!  I'm feeling fantastic and I'm doing a lot more things for fun we even went to Downtown Disney and Sun n Fun to see airplanes.  Today I was supposed to have chemo but my blood counts are very low so my Oncologist delayed my chemo until next week.  I'm very disappointed because I really want to be finished with chemo. I know God is with me every step of the way.  PT is going very well, I'm working really hard and I'm not as tired while doing PT..  My little sister has a birthday soon and she already had her first of three parties.  Last week I had more test and scans and they all came back with perfect results.  Just two more chemo treatments to go!!! Don't forget you can get your 'Team Simeon' wristband by clicking the Donate button next to this post.  Keep praying because God hears you too :)

RADIATION IS OVER!!!! (Simeon)

Dr. Sombeck my Radiologist and me

On Thursday I had my last radiation treatment!!!  I'm very happy about that.  The same day I had to have Chemo and I'm still here at the Hospital finishing Chemo.  I'm feeling fantastic!  I got my JoyJar in the mail and I was so happy to get that, I also got a Song of  Love it is a song written jut for me.  I love that song because it is about everything I love. My sister loves it because it has her name in it.  Things are going well and I'm counting down the months until I'm finish Chemo.  Thank you Jesus for getting me through Radiation Therapy.  At PT last week I swam for the very first time since my first surgery!  It felt amazing to get in the water and swim.  I love swimming so much.  God is blessing me through this entire process.

STILL REJOICING (Simeon)

It has been a while since I blogged and so much has happened!  I had more Chemo and it was really horrible, I was vomiting a lot and lost 5 pounds.  I also had to go to the ER because I was not eating and vomiting so much.  Thank God that is over and today I'm feeling fantastic!  I started to ride my bike again and I'm really happy about that.  Radiation is going well.  My back is burned from where the radiation exits my body. The Doctor says as I grow the spot will get smaller.  Home school is  OK, I still really miss going to school and my classmates and I know they miss me because I make them laugh and I make them think.  I'm meeting a lot of really amazing people and some of them need me to pray for them and I love to pray for people. PT is awesome and I'm really getting strong.  I'm almost back to full strength in my legs.  My family and me did a photo shoot with Flashes of  Hope it was so much fun I can't wait to see those pictures.  Keep praying for me because God hears you too!

RUNNING FOR JESUS (Simeon)

Today I went to P.T. and did something very special.....I RAN ON A TREADMILL! But not just any treadmill a NASA treadmill that makes you lighter.  It was used to weigh astronauts down in space but it was reversed engineered to make people lighter.  It was fantastic to run again!  I have not ran since October so it felt INCREDIBLE!  I also had Radiation today and the machine had a problem, one tiny piece shut down the entire huge machine.  Good thing the engineer was able to fix it.  I had blood tests done today and my results are good, everything is going well. I'm feeling spectacular!  I thank God and I'm running for Jesus ;)
"Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits--who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's." Psalm 103:2-5

ON TO ROUND 3 (Simeon)

Right now I feel GREAT!  I started radiation and it's very educational, I'm learning so much about how radiation gets to a part of your body and you don't really feel it at all.  On Thursday I went to Space Night at my school and it was spectacular!  An engineer from NASA was speaking about rockets and orbiters.  I was very excited to go back to my school and see my friends and teachers.  Some people even cried when they saw me walking that made feel loved.  PT is going very well, on Monday I worked really hard then I got really sick afterward.  Next week at PT I'm going on a special treadmill that was created by NASA to weigh astronauts down while in space, now it has been reverse engineered to make you lighter so I will be able to RUN on this special treadmill.  I'm so excited and can't wait to run.  I have radiation everyday for 6 weeks and 5 more Chemo treatments left.  Praise God!  Wish me blessings!

"But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.  I will sing to the LORD, because he has dealt bountifully with me." Psalm 13:5-6
