RUNNING FOR JESUS (Simeon)

Today I went to P.T. and did something very special.....I RAN ON A TREADMILL! But not just any treadmill a NASA treadmill that makes you lighter.  It was used to weigh astronauts down in space but it was reversed engineered to make people lighter.  It was fantastic to run again!  I have not ran since October so it felt INCREDIBLE!  I also had Radiation today and the machine had a problem, one tiny piece shut down the entire huge machine.  Good thing the engineer was able to fix it.  I had blood tests done today and my results are good, everything is going well. I'm feeling spectacular!  I thank God and I'm running for Jesus ;)
"Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits--who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's." Psalm 103:2-5

ON TO ROUND 3 (Simeon)

Right now I feel GREAT!  I started radiation and it's very educational, I'm learning so much about how radiation gets to a part of your body and you don't really feel it at all.  On Thursday I went to Space Night at my school and it was spectacular!  An engineer from NASA was speaking about rockets and orbiters.  I was very excited to go back to my school and see my friends and teachers.  Some people even cried when they saw me walking that made feel loved.  PT is going very well, on Monday I worked really hard then I got really sick afterward.  Next week at PT I'm going on a special treadmill that was created by NASA to weigh astronauts down while in space, now it has been reverse engineered to make you lighter so I will be able to RUN on this special treadmill.  I'm so excited and can't wait to run.  I have radiation everyday for 6 weeks and 5 more Chemo treatments left.  Praise God!  Wish me blessings!

"But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.  I will sing to the LORD, because he has dealt bountifully with me." Psalm 13:5-6

I'M KNOCKED DOWN BUT I WILL NOT STAY ON THE GROUND (Simeon)

Today I felt nauseous and rotten it's been a really bad day.  I know tomorrow will be better.  I start radiation and have PT tomorrow.  Wish me blessing and keep praying for me because God hears u 2.

"You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus, and what you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses entrust to faithful men who will be able to teach others also. Share in suffering as a good soldier of Christ Jesus. No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him." 2 Timothy 2:1-4

NO PAIN NO GAIN (Simeon)

I had to wake up at 4:00 to get dressed and to pack up because my mom and I had to be at the hospital at 6:00 to get my double port.  So my mom and I got our selves situated and were ready to go. When we got to the hospital  I was ready for surgery so I got anesthesia then I passed out.  When I woke up, I was in the recovery room.  Then the nurses brought me to the Oncology floor. Once I got there I WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN!!!!  I was screaming out of my mind with intense pain then I asked one of the nurses to give me some pain medication (Morphine).  Then I was all better. The reason I got the port was for freedom.  This pain is just temporary, it will be worth it soon.  The same day I started the next round of Chemo, thank God it is going FANTASTIC.... HALLELUJAH!  One more day of chemo and then I start Radiation on Monday.
"It is the LORD who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed." Deuteronomy 3:28

THE EYE OF THE CHRIST (Simeon)

Yesterday I had to go to the surgeons office about getting the Power Port implanted.  The surgery is only 30 minutes long but Mom and me have to be at the hospital at 6:00 am for the surgery at 8:00 am.  I also went to the Oncologist office to have more blood drawn and the results were great!  Then I had my PICC dressing changed AGAIN for the last time because once I get my Power Port I can have the PICC line removed.  I also had Homeschooling today and it was great I'm going to do a fun project about science.  Today I did PT and I'm working very hard so I can ride my bike again, I have to work on my balance and strength.  I'm walking up the stairs and I'm doing spectacular.  Surgery tomorrow and Chemo tomorrow. Wish me blessings!  I don't have the "Eye of the Tiger" I have the "Eye of the Christ!"  Happy New Year and God Bless....
"So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self  is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.  For this light momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all comparison, as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal."  2 Corinthians 4:16-18
